Episode 2: Working Past Retirement Age

Many Canadians have no use for retirement. They want to keep working well into older age.

On our second episode of the Reimaging Retirement podcast – a six-part series on all things retirement – we look at what it’s like to continue working after retirement. Many people want to keep going into the office after they turn 65, while others have to, for whatever the reason, more people are working past retirement age.

Our host and More editor-in-chief Bryan Borzykowski speaks to Christine Curtis, owner of Toronto’s Butternut Baking Company, a bakery that serves gluten-free desserts, about why she started a business in retirement. He also talks to Moses Znaimer, a Canadian icon and founder of Zoomer Media, about some of the struggles people have when it comes to finding work later in life.
