The IG High Interest Savings Account is offered through IG Wealth Management Inc. Funds deposited through the program will be placed with one or more financial institutions that are members of the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation (“CDIC”). Eligible deposits are insured by the CDIC, subject to the CDIC’s rules and coverage limits. Coverage is generally limited to $100,000 per depositor per insured category at each CDIC member institution, including principal and interest. The IG High Interest Savings Account is also available for registered and corporate accounts; however, interest rates for these account types may differ. Interest rates are expressed on an annual basis and are subject to change at any time without prior notice. Interest is calculated daily on the applicable balance at the interest rate in effect for that day and is paid monthly.
